Fairly Lake Botanical Garden is a famous scenic spot that combines tourism, scientific research and the endeavor of cultivating and spreading an interest in science. Located in the northeast of the city, it is adjacent to Wutong Mountain in the east and faces Shenzhen Reservoir to the west.

Occupying an area of 52,800 acres, the botanical garden boasts a collection of over 4,000 species. The whole garden consists of six different scenic spots: “Earthly Paradise,” “Lake Spot,” “Temple Spot,” “Desert Spot,” “Forest Fossil,” and “Pine, Cypresses, Azaleas." At these spots, dozens of landscapes have also been constructed, such as caves, mazes, the Heavenly Pond and Billow-enjoying Pavilion, as well as a museum dedicated to extinct plants and animals.
