Music festival staged in Shenzhen Happy Valley

A music festival kicked off in Shenzhen Happy Valley Saturday night and will continue through Jan. 3. The amusement park will invite a number of pop music stars in China to present a nightly music feast for tourists.
On Saturday night, the young girl rap star He meiyan sang six original songs at the festival, including one freshly released song that had never been previously performed. Other popular bands and singers including Re-TROS, D-shine, Meng Zikun, and A Rong, will also join in the music festival in the coming nights.
On December 19, 24, 25 and 31, tourists can also view a splendid fireworks show at the Playa Maya Water Park. Over 100 types of fireworks in the shapes of chrysanthemums, fountains, peacock tails and waterfalls will light up the park’s night sky.
In addition, the park has also launched a nighttime touring project named “5D Light and Shadow Forest,” providing 18 interactive games in a 30,000-squre-meter outdoor space.

During the festival, tourists in pairs will enjoy a discounted ticked price of 119 yuan for the night hours (5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.). The elderly and children will enjoy a fare of 49 yuan for the night tour.
