2nd “China Merchants” entrepreneurship competition ends

The final of the 2nd “China Merchants” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held on the last day of 2020, and awarded one first prize winner, three second prizes winners and six third prizes winners.

Themed “Technology enables digital traffic development,” the competition was kicked off Jan. 16, 2020, attracting 254 projects covering smart logistics, smart port, smart manufacturing, smart monitoring and related fields to participate in.

Through the past months, a total of 43 roadshows, a training camp, an industry matchmaking event and a semifinal were organized.

At the final contest, the RAC high precision satellite positioning receiver project won the first prize; the cloud chain logistics platform, the Sipui’aoding project and the RoadStation intelligent transportation virtual reality platform were the runners-up; the cold chain technology, the mobile cold storage with multi-function modular combination, the marine anti-corrosion coating technology, the intelligent distribution patrol robot, the intelligent navigation “eagle eye” system, the intelligent charge cloud and the intelligent security management system obtained third prizes.

The competition was included in August in the funded projects of the 2020 Sea Wisdom Plan of China Association for Science and Technology to serve the integrated development of science, technology and the economy.

Since 2018, the competition has attracted more than 500 startup and innovative team to join in. Among them, 100 products made by the competing teams have been applied in the China Merchants Group.
