Tickets for holiday travel selling fast

The air tickets of China Southern Airlines from Shenzhen to Nanchong, Nanyang, Changde, Hanzhong, Zhangjiajie for the Spring Festival transportation season that will officially start from Jan. 28 have been sold out.

Tickets to tourism provinces like Hainan and Yunnan during the Spring Festival holiday period between Feb. 11 and 17 have almost sold out, according to data released by the operator.

To meet demand, the operator will add a daily flight between Shenzhen and Nanyang from Jan. 28 to March 8. The flight leaves Shenzhen at 9:35 a.m. and arrives at Nanyang airport at 11:40 a.m. In addition, it will deploy wide-body planes on the routes from Shenzhen to Hefei, Xi’an, Chongqing, Guiyang, Harbin, Changchun, Haikou and Sanya.

Between Jan. 13 and March 27, it will open a route between Shenzhen and Chongqing. The flight will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing from Chongqing at 3:55 p.m. and arriving at Shenzhen at 6:25 p.m. The return flight leaves at 7:30 p.m. and arrives at Chongqing at 9:45 p.m.

Passengers taking the maiden flight between Shenzhen and Chongqing on Jan. 13 will enjoy a promotional price of 500 yuan (US$77) for a single trip. During the Spring Festival holiday period, the price is 740 yuan.
