Northern extension of Xinqu Boulevard opens

The northern extension of Xinqu Boulevard in Longhua District was put into use Tuesday, forming a new south-north corridor by linking with Longguan Road and Guanlan Boulevard, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported.

The northern extension of the boulevard starts from Jianshe Road in the south and connects with Longguan Road through the road network in the north. Half of the 1-kilometer road is underground.

Now that it is in use, it is part of the most important south-north corridor of the backbone road network in Longhua District, running between Minzhi, Longhua, Fucheng and Guanlan subdistricts.
