A digital version of the Shenzhen Red Culture Map, with 33 Party history learning and education bases and over 50 revolutionary sites, was launched Wednesday, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported.

The map was jointly launched by the city's Party history research center and the Shenzhen Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau.

Apart from the digital map, the research center and the planning and natural resources bureau have also made wall maps and portable maps available to the public.

The digital map uses image recognition and AR-based technologies to realize the presentation of 3D architectural models on the paper-based map, bringing readers an immersive experience.

People can access the map without downloading an application. They can follow "Shenzhen Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau" (深圳市规划和自然资源局) WeChat account and type "Red Map" (红色地图) to obtain a link to the AR map.

The 33 education bases include Shenzhen Party History Museum, Shenzhen Museum, and the Shenzhen Municipal Party and Mass Service Center.

By clicking on an individual building, users can view its 3D version and rotate it by 720 degrees. Audio introductions are also available.

People can scan the attached QR code to view the electronic version of the map.
