Meaning:
Literally translated as “how evil can someone be,” this is a catchphrase often used by young women to jokingly proclaim their innocence. The original line was “how evil can a kitty be,” often accompanied by hilarious short videos of cute cats wreaking havoc in a household, like soiling a bed sheet or destroying a sofa with their claws.
Example:
A: 你最近怎么总是带零食给我吃?老实说,你想干什么?
Nǐ zuìjìn zěnme zǒngshì dài língshí gěi wǒ chī?Lǎoshí shuō,nǐ xiǎng gàn shénme?
Why have you been bringing me a lot of snacks recently? What do you want actually?
B: 猫猫能有什么坏心思呢?我就是买多了,拿来跟你一起分享。
Māomāo néng yǒu shénme huài xīnsī ne?Wǒ jiùshì mǎi duō le,nálái gēn nǐ yīqǐ fènxiǎng。
No strings attached. It’s just I bought a lot of them and want to share with you.
