The China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), dubbed as China’s No. 1 technology show, opened both online and offline at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Futian District and Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District yesterday.
The annual event, now in its 23rd edition, continues to provide a window into the hottest trends in science and technology as well as an insight into new market demands.
According to the organizers, this year’s fair focuses on new infrastructure represented by 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), industrial internet and Internet of Things (IoT), as well as new networks, facilities, platforms and terminals powered by new-generation information technology (IT), in order to foster the development and growth of new economies such as the digital economy.
In order to help China achieve carbon peak and neutrality, the environmental protection and energy exhibition in Hall 9 of the Bao’an venue demonstrates the latest trends in environmental protection and the energy industry, as well as relevant applications serving green life and development.
In the hall there are also four exhibition areas dedicated to AI, smart homes, intelligent manufacturing, and life and health, and two areas for IT-enabled anti-epidemic technology and commercial 5G use.
Visitors will be enthralled by the innovation and scientific research exhibition and advanced manufacturing exhibition in Hall 11 in Bao’an, where the latest technologies, products and solutions in advanced manufacturing are on display to demonstrate the transition from “Made in China” to “Intelligent Manufacturing in China.”
CHTF 2021 features exhibitions, conferences and business networking events under the theme “Advance Quality Development and Build a Novel Development Pattern.” Conferences include the China Hi-Tech Forum, technical seminars, business salons, product launches and B2B meetings.
Nearly 50 well-known industry experts and scholars, including academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, spoke at the forum.
Offline exhibitions will run through tomorrow, while virtual exhibitions will last until Friday.
The exhibitions in Futian feature national high technology, smart city, smart homes, video surveillance, security semiconductors, police equipment and a CAS exhibition area.
IT products, international exhibitors including those from Belt & Road countries, environmental protection and energy, architecture technology innovation, smart health care, advanced manufacturing and startups are highlights of the Bao’an exhibitions.
A total of 3,354 companies from China and 39 foreign countries are participating in the fair either online or on site.
CHTF, first launched in 1999 in a bid to boost the economy through technical innovation, has since been held annually.
