Meaning:
“世卫组织” refers to the World Health Organization, often abbreviated as “WHO,” “关心” means “to care about,” and “你” means “you.” Coined by Chinese netizens, this line is a joking way to say “Who cares?” Some even came up with a picture with the logo of the WHO and the punchline in both Chinese and English.
Example:
A: 我最近好烦,女朋友不怎么理我。
Wǒ zuìjìn hǎo fán,nǚpéngyou bù zěnme lǐ wǒ。
I feel frustrated that my girlfriend seems to be ignoring me lately.
B: 我跟你有那么熟吗?世卫组织关心你。
Wǒ gēn nǐ yǒu nàme shú ma?Shìwèi zǔzhī guānxīn nǐ。
Are we that close? Who cares?
