Residents in part of Futian District (south of Binhe Road, east of Qiaocheng Road East and west of Hongling Road South) that has not yet achieved “dynamic zero infection” will continue to work from home unless they are essential workers until March 27, the district’s COVID prevention and control headquarters said in a notice issued yesterday.

Public service enterprises that ensure Shenzhen’s basic operation and supplies to Hong Kong will operate as normal on the condition of implementing strict measures. Employees of enterprises responsible for ensuring essential services such as water, electricity, gas, communications, food and vegetables, medical institutions and pharmacies can enter and leave their housing compounds by presenting employer-issued certificates.

Dine-in services at catering businesses, including canteens, will remain suspended; while takeout and delivery services are available. Training agencies are not allowed to provide onsite services.

Work-from-home rules and traffic restrictions are still in effect in the said areas. Vehicles, except for those transporting Shenzhen residents’ daily necessities and goods to Hong Kong, need certificates when running on the roads.

Housing compounds and urban villages in southern Futian are still under closed-off management, with temperature checks and 24-hour nucleic acid tests at entrances. Residents who are allowed to enter and leave their housing compounds need to scan venue codes. Nonlocal residents are not allowed to enter housing compounds and urban villages.

Contactless takeaway and parcel deliveries will be imposed.

Residents who need to leave Shenzhen under certain circumstances are required to provide negative 24-hour nucleic acid test reports.

Exhibitions, forums, performances and other activities that will gather people are still suspended. Square dances, market fairs and park visits are also prohibited.

Residents in southern Futian are obliged to undergo daily nucleic acid testing for the first four days starting today.
