Shenzhen reported nine new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, including four asymptomatic infections, yesterday.
Six of the new cases were found among centrally quarantined close contacts of COVID patients reported earlier in the city, another two were detected during screening in key areas and among key groups of people, while the other one was found during the citywide screening in communities.
All of the new local patients have been transferred to the emergency wards of the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. They are all in stable condition.
