In 2018, the Cultural and Creative Industries developed steadily and rapidly. The top 100 cultural and creative enterprises and the top ten export enterprises have gained enormous strength, and their leading roles continues to emerge. The assessment methods for cultural industry parks were drawn up, and the management and service of the parks continued to be improved. China (Shenzhen) New Media Advertising Industrial Park and University Town Creative Park Cluster Districts were granted the qualification to create provincial-level cultural industry demonstration parks. The 14th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair was successfully held, with 7.33 million participants, an increase of 10% year-on-year. The fair attracted 42 participating countries and regions. 

The top 30 national-level cultural enterprises were first announced at the Cultural Industries Fair, among which FANTA WILD and OCT Group were once again selected.

Additionally, China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair-Macao EXPO, Macao International Trade and Investment Fair and Winter Arts and Crafts Expo of ICIF were all successfully held in Shenzhen.
