With the support of the Nanshan International Cultural Exchange and Service Center (NSIC), the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) Hospital will hold an “International Free Health Consultation Camp” at the NSIC between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday.

The free health consultation camp is open to all residents including expats in Shenzhen, according to the hospital.

The health consultation team consists of medical experts in the fields of endocrinology and metabolic medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics, nutrition and traditional Chinese medicine.

Medical experts participating in the health consultation camp include Professor Xing Mingzhao, guest director of the hospital’s Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases and the dean of SUSTech School of Medicine, and Professor Wang Lin, deputy director of the hospital’s Department of Orthopedics and the hospital’s vice president, and others.

To broaden the health camp’s services, the hospital said it has also invited 12 medical insurance companies to provide detailed consultations on various health care insurance service programs.

The hospital’s operation is based on an innovative “District-University cooperation” model managed between the Nanshan District Government and SUSTech.
