Shenzhen reported two locally transmitted asymptomatic COVID-19 infections yesterday, according to the city’s health commission yesterday.
The patients, one aged 49 and the other 22, both live in the east side of Xiangxi Village in Luohu District. They are the close contacts of a locally transmitted asymptomatic infection reported Saturday.
Both patients have been transferred to the city’s designated medical facility for COVID treatment and are in stable condition. Epidemiological investigation related to the new infections is under way.
