A maximum of 100 million yuan in support is available for the establishment of novel specialized scientific research institutions centered around innovative teams made up of high-level talented personnel.
A maximum of 1:1 matching support is available for those that carry out national or provincial scientific and technological plan (task) projects.
A maximum of 10 million yuan in support is available for those that carry out Shenzhen's foundational, cutting-edge, and/or key (core) technological projects.
To support enterprises in setting up R&D reserve fund systems, a maximum of 10 million yuan is available in post-project support for eligible R&D projects.
High and new technology enterprises are encouraged to give scientific researchers stock equity rewards, and some personal tax payment regulations have been relaxed to allow taxes to be paid in installments within a five year period.
The share equity percentage that management and core staff at structurally reformed/converted scientific research institutes, high and new technology enterprises, and science and technology service-type enterprises are allowed to hold has been increased to 30%.
