Shenzhen reported one new locally transmitted confirmed case and one new locally transmitted asymptomatic case of COVID-19 yesterday.
The patients, a 40-year-old male living in Baishizhou, Shahe Subdistrict in Nanshan District and a 33-year-old female living in Futian Subdistrict, Futian District, were detected during routine community nucleic acid screenings.
They have been transferred to the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and are currently in stable condition.
