You may be enchanted by Jay Chou’s music video for his new song “Greatest Works of Art” dropped Wednesday or stunned by his interaction in the video with iconic artists (such as Dali, Monet and Sanyu) in Paris in the 1920s. Although you may not be lucky enough to make a time travel to the roaring 1920s Paris as Chou did, you can still appreciate great works of art in Shenzhen as some new exhibitions are scheduled to open soon.

‘Wish You Were Here’

Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan will bring his hyperrealistic sculptures and installations at the “Wish You Were Here” exhibition. His satirical approach to art has resulted in him being frequently labeled as a joker or prankster of the art world. Some of Cattelan’s better-known works include “America,” consisting of a solid gold toilet, “La Nona Ora,” a sculpture depicting a fallen Pope who has been hit by a meteorite, and “Comedian,” a fresh banana duct-taped to a wall.
