Shenzhen reported two new local COVID-19 cases yesterday, including an asymptomatic carrier.
One of the new cases was found among close contacts of people returning to Shenzhen from outside of Guangdong Province, and the other was detected during screening in a high-risk area in Longhua District.
They have been transferred to the city's designated medical facility for COVID treatment and are in stable condition.
