Shenzhen reported one new locally transmitted confirmed case and eight new locally transmitted asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 yesterday.
The cases were detected during screening of close contacts of previously reported COVID-patients, screening in the city's medium-risk areas (two cases) and high-risk areas, screening of residents working in key industries (two cases) and key group of residents who were under close-loop management and routine community screening (two cases).
The patients have been transferred to the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and all of them are in stable condition.
