Shenzhen reported three new local confirmed cases and five new local asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 yesterday.
Three of the patients, namely, a 33-year-old female living in Guiyuan Subdistrict, Luohu District, a 40-year-old female living in Shahe Subdistrict, Nanshan District and a 48-year-old male living in Yuehai Subdistrict, Nanshan District, were detected during screening of residents working in key industries. Another two patients, namely, a 76-year-old male and a 46-year-old female living in Liantang Subdistrict, Luohu District, were found among close contacts of previously reported COVID patients. A 40-year-old male patient living in Liantang Subdistrict, Luohu District was detected during screening in the city's medium-risk areas, a 55-year-old female patient living in Shahe Subdistrict, Nanshan District was detected during screening of key groups of residents, and a 67-year-old male living in Fubao Subdistrict, Futian District was detected during medical consultations.
The patients have been transferred to the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and all of them are in stable condition.
