Shenzhen reported 19 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, including five asymptomatic carriers, yesterday.
Six of the patients were found among close contacts of previously reported COVID patients, four were detected during routine screening of residents working in key industries, seven were detected during screening of residents living in the city's high- and medium-risk areas, one was detected during screening of key groups of residents, and one was detected during medical consultations.
They live in Shahe Subdistrict, Nanshan District (nine patients), Yuehai Subdistrict, Nanshan District (two patients), Xili Subdistrict, Nanshan District (two patients), Fubao Subdistrict, Futian District (four patients) and Liantang Subdistrict, Luohu District (two patients).
They have been transferred to the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and all of them are in stable condition.
