Shenzhen reported 22 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, including five asymptomatic carriers, yesterday.
Eleven of the patients were found in close contacts of previously reported COVID patients, six were detected during screening in the city's high- and medium-risk areas, three were detected during screening of key groups of residents, one was detected during screening of residents working in key industries, and one was found during medical consultations.
The patients live in Shahe Subdistrict, Nanshan District (nine patients), Xili Subdistrict, Nanshan District (four patients), Fubao Subdistrict, Futian District (eight patients) and Kuichong Subdistrict, Dapeng New Area (one patient).
They have been transferred to the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and all of them are in stable condition.
