Rebirth and Resonance,” an exhibition marking the third anniversary of the Pingshan Art Museum, showcases 21 artworks collected by the art museum.

In the past three years, the art museum held 25 exhibitions, collaborating with more than 400 domestic and international artists, designers, architects, curators and scholars. Some items at the retrospective come from those past exhibitions, such as the opening exhibition “Unknown City,” the interdisciplinary series “Nine-Tiered Pagoda: Spatial and Visual Magic,” as well as the ongoing artist series, “Shenzhen Contemporary Artists,” and the “Hometown” series. Its public education programs, such as “Four Seasons Academic Salon” and “PAM Kids Studio,” have served over 300,000 audience members.

Meanwhile, two more exhibitions, “Tracing Peach Blossom Spring” and “Materialization,” are also being held at the art Museum. The former showcases Shenzhen artist Zhou Li’s paintings and installations, all in pink tones to express the artist’s thoughts on the relationship between humans and nature. The latter displays Romania-born artist Daniel Knorr’s works.

Visitors can also immerse themselves in the art museum’s virtual art exhibition on the sixth floor. In cooperation with dslcollection, the exhibition explores questions on the relationship between virtual and real. The curating team selected artworks from eight Chinese contemporary artists that dslcollection has collected. The exhibition adopts a free-roaming VR space in a large exhibition hall, allowing visitors to walk freely and experience this virtual art journey by simultaneously interacting with space, artworks and people.

The ending dates for all the exhibitions have not yet been announced.
