Shenzhen reported 19 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, including 15 asymptomatic carriers, yesterday.
Seventeen of the patients were found among close contacts of previously reported COVID patients, and the other two were found during community screening.
The city also reported one asymptomatic-turned-confirmed case.
The patients have been transferred to the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and all of them are in stable condition.
