In the dog days of summer, treat your children and their friends to some indoor funlands in shopping malls in Shenzhen. Public libraries are also cool places to beat the heat and they play an important role in providing out-of-classroom reading for youths in the vacation.

The U.NI Basketball Exhibition Hall on Level G of Great China International Exchange Square in Futian District is an immersive NBA-themed zone, showcasing sculptures, photos, sneakers and wax figures of NBA star players. A small indoor basketball court near Exit A1 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center Metro Station makes the underground space look vibrant.

The Xinghe iCO shopping mall in Longhua District is exhibiting easy-to-play installations for children to understand space knowledge. And the InJoy shopping center in Meilin, Futian District has decorated a funland with adorable Teletubbies. In that funland, children can indulge themselves in a ball pit or try their luck playing a Gashapon machine.
