Portuguese artist donates anti-COVID-themed paintings

Maria João Costa e Príncipe from Portugal donated serveral paintings to the Nanshan International Cultural Exchange & Service Center (NSIC) in the afternoon of Aug. 9. She spent the past few months on these paintings dedicated to the medical workers, social workers and volunteers who were on the frontline fighting against COVID-19.

The artist said she was so deeply touched by the altruistic spirit of these personnel that she wanted to express her gratitude through paintings. She also mentioned that in the future she will present more painting exhibitions to bring positive energy.
