Shenzhen reported one new local COVID-19 asymptomatic carrier yesterday. The case was detected among close contacts of people returning to the city from outside of Shenzhen.
He has been transferred to the emergency ward of the Third People's Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment, and is in stable condition.
Residents are urged to keep masking, wash hands frequently, maintain good ventilation and observe social distancing.
