Shenzhen reported eight new local COVID-19 cases, including four asymptomatic carriers, yesterday.
Four of the new cases were found among close contacts of previous patients, two were detected during routine testing of key groups of people, one was found during medical consultations and one during community screening.
All have been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Currently, they’re in stable condition.
Residents are urged to keep masking, wash hands frequently, maintain good ventilation and observe social distancing.
