Following the huge success of last year's debut edition, the organizers of the China (Shenzhen) Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair 2022 (CCBEC) are preparing for the highly anticipated 2022 show. As one of the largest trade fairs for the cross-border e-commerce industry in China, CCBEC, which will take place at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in late September, expects to attract 2,500 suppliers, cross-border e-commerce platforms and service providers to showcase their latest products and services within an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters. Forums and seminars will also be organized.

Against the backdrop of the pandemic, traditional importers and exporters across the globe are gradually resorting to e-commerce to expand their options in a changing economy. China’s cross-border e-commerce recorded 2.45 billion customs declarations in 2020, an increase of 63.3% year on year. Regarded as a leading hub in the e-commerce industry, Shenzhen has witnessed exponential growth in its cross-border e-commerce sector, a new driving force behind the city’s foreign trade. With sound industrial chains, Shenzhen has also seen rapid development in related fields such as finance, technologies and logistics.
