Shenzhen reported 37 local COVID-19 cases, including 17 asymptomatic carriers, yesterday.
Twenty-three of the new cases were found among close contacts of previous infections, one among key groups of people under closed-loop management, five during COVID testing of key groups of people, four when they sought a test, and four during community screening.
All have been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Currently, they’re in stable condition.
Residents are urged to keep masking, wash hands frequently, maintain good ventilation and observe social distancing.
