Shenzhen reported 87 new local COVID-19 cases, including 37 asymptomatic carriers, yesterday.
Seventy-nine of the patients were found among close contacts of previous infections, five during COVID testing of key groups of people, one when the patient visited a doctor, and two during community screening.
All have been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and they’re in stable condition.
Residents are urged to keep masking, wash hands frequently, maintain good ventilation and observe social distancing.
