All companies should shift to working from home except for those for ensuring public service and essential life supply in the city as well as for ensuring food supply to Hong Kong. Those adopting closed-loop management with employees living and working in industrial parks can run normally with COVID measures in place.

Business premises and stores are ordered to close except for supermarkets, wet markets, pharmacies, medical institutions and catering businesses that provide only takeout services.

All buses and Metro services in the districts will be suspended, except for transport that ensures the city’s operation and materials transportation to Hong Kong.

Closed-off management will be implemented in residential compounds, urban villages and industrial parks in the districts.

The measures will be in place from tomorrow to midnight Sunday, and further adjustments will be announced depending on the COVID situation.
