The city's Metro network has resumed service today except that some stations remain closed due to the requirements of the COVID-19 prevention and control measures, according to a notice issued by Shenzhen Metro Group this morning.

The closed stations are located in subdistricts that remain under temporary control due to new COVID cases detected in community screening during the weekend.

Metro trains will not stop at the closed stations, but transfer service is still available at the closed interchange stations.

Separately, bus services also resumed today, except for some stops in the subdistricts of Nanyuan, Fubao, Futian, Lianhua, Dongmen, Guiyuan, Nanhu, Shatoujiao, Yantian, Shekou, Henggang, Minzhi, Longhua and Dalang, according to the city's transport bureau.

Bus routes that start or end at Shenzhen North Railway Station are not affected to ensure the traveling and commuting of people.

People are required to produce negative 48-hour nucleic acid test results or a 24-hour COVID test record to take a ride on a Metro train or a bus.
