Shenzhen reported 40 new local COVID-19 cases, including 13 asymptomatic infections, yesterday.
Among the new cases, 19 were found among people under centralized quarantine, two among people under home health monitoring, 14 during testing in high-risk areas for COVID, one among key groups of people under closed-loop management, one among key groups of people not under closed-loop management, and three when they sought a test. The city reported no new community COVID cases yesterday. All of the infections detected outside centralized quarantine sites were found Monday and confirmed yesterday.
All have been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Currently, they are in stable condition.
Residents are urged to keep masking, wash hands frequently, maintain good ventilation and observe social distancing.
