Shenzhen reported eight new local COVID-19 cases, including four asymptomatic infections, yesterday.
Five of the patients were found among people under centralized quarantine, two were detected during testing in high-risk areas for COVID, and one among people who returned to Shenzhen from outside of Guangdong Province.
All have been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Currently, they are in stable condition.
Residents are urged to keep masking, wash hands frequently, maintain good ventilation and observe social distancing.
