Entrepreneurship week highlights tech applications in COVID fight

Technologies used to help fight the coronavirus pandemic are taking center stage at the Shenzhen subvenue of the 2022 National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week, which opened today at Shenzhen Bay Sports Center in Nanshan District to showcase the city's achievements and breakthroughs in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Shenzhen is one of the subvenues of the national event, which will last through Sept. 21. The event will also focus on integrated development of real and digital economies, as well as new business models.

Four types of innovation-based themed activities will be held, including innovation market, innovation and entrepreneurship exhibition, competitions and forums, Nanshan's science and technology innovation commission said.
