Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong’s flagship carrier, inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CMSK Cruise Home Port on Thursday afternoon in Shekou, aiming to further enhance passengers’ travel experience by improving its air-sea transfer services.

According to the MOU, the two sides will form a strategic partnership in terms of enhancing customer experience, brand synergy, sales and promotion of Cathay Pacific’s intermodal transport products.

Cathay Pacific started to offer check-in services at the home port in 2016. Over 18 million travelers have so far benefited from the terminal’s cross-border early check-in services, said Wilson Yam, general manager of Cathay Pacific’s Greater Bay Area.
