Shenzhen reported 33 new local cases of COVID-19 yesterday, 27 of whom were related to patients returning to the city from outside of Guangdong Province. Nineteen of them were asymtomatic carriers.
Among the new infections, 21 were found among people under centralized quarantine, one among people under home health monitoring, two during screening in high-risk areas, two among key groups of people under non-closed-loop management, and seven during community screening.
They have been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and are in stable condition.
Residents are urged to keep masking, wash hands frequently, maintain good ventilation and observe social distancing.
