Shenzhen reported 26 new local cases of COVID-19 yesterday, 16 of whom were associated with people returning to the city from outside of Guangdong Province. Seven of them were asymtomatic carriers.
Among the new infections, 16 were found among people under centralized quarantine, six among people under home health monitoring, one among people in high-risk areas, one among key groups of people under non-closed-loop management, and two during community screening.
They have been transferred to the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment and all of them are in stable condition.
Residents are urged to keep masking, wash hands frequently, maintain good ventilation and observe social distancing.
