As one of the largest catering industry exhibitions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Shenzhen Catering Expo is an important platform for the whole supply chain of the sector. In its past four editions, the event has received a total of nearly 200,000 buyers from home and abroad. The Fifth Shenzhen Catering Expo, with an exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, will provide more than 1,500 exhibition booths. More than 100,000 buyers are expected to visit this fair, which will establish new exhibition themes such as foods with medicinal value and pre-made dishes.

Shenzhen is home to China’s largest LED lighting industry cluster, leading the country in related industry development. China’s total exports of lighting products rose by 85.46% to US$13.78 billion in the first quarter of last year.

The 2022 Shenzhen International Lighting Exhibition, with a goal of promoting the overall development of China’s lighting industry, will have an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, highlighting 2,000 specially designed booths and 1,200 exhibitors.

Design Shenzhen, a new addition to Design Shanghai’s event portfolio, will take place from Dec. 1 to 4 and present over 200 curated brands tailored to architects, interior designers, property developers and the design-savvy public, according to the organizers.

Design Shanghai is said to be Asia’s largest and most influential design fair, and Shenzhen will become the third city to host Asia’s largest network of annual design shows after Design Shanghai and Design China Beijing.

The four-day event will provide future and influential design audience groups with a unique platform for design exchange and resource replacement.

• COSP-International Outdoor Exhibition

With outdoor camping gaining popularity nationwide, the outdoor camping industry has been flourishing. COSP-International Outdoor Exhibition, a platform for the outdoor industry players, will take place simultaneously in Shenzhen and Shanghai. The Shenzhen exhibition, with an expected exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, is expected to attract more than 350 exhibitors as well as 40,000 visitors, according to the organizer. Ten activities are going to take place along the exhibition.

• Shenzhen Finexpo

The 16th Shenzhen International Financial Expo (Shenzhen Finexpo) is expected to gather more than 2,200 exhibitors including local banks and financial institutions to showcase the latest achievements of the financial industry. With an expected exhibition area of more than 30,000 square meters, the exhibition is expected to receive 2.7 million visitors. More than 340 related activities will be held during the exhibition.

Started in 2007 and having been successfully held for 15 sessions, it is the most influential brand exhibition in the field of finance in Shenzhen. Shenzhen Finexpo is an important platform to showcase the achievements of financial reform and innovation in Shenzhen. The latest technologies, products and services in the field of finance from home and abroad are also the focus of the fair.

As a leading lithium battery technology exhibition, the International Battery Technology Exhibition (IBTE) is gaining increasing recognition among exhibitors from home and abroad. The scale of this year’s fair is expected to grow by 60% from 2021 and become the top lithium battery industry show in China. The fair has been playing a positive role in the development of China’s lithium battery industry as it has been an indispensable platform for industry exchanges, learning and purchasing.

IBTE 2022 Shenzhen, with an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, is expected to gather more than 800 exhibitors and more than 38,000 visitors.

Initiated in 2013, Art Shenzhen is an innovative “1+N” exhibition form of the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair and for the past nine years has played a role in promoting the development of contemporary art in Shenzhen. It has ushered in the creation of some cultural and artistic brands in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Art Shenzhen 2021, which saw an unprecedented exhibition response, made remarkable achievements. Art Shenzhen 2022 is expected to bring an art feast to all. This year’s fair will bring together 82 art institutions from 32 cities in 15 countries and regions. They will present thousands of artworks from home and abroad that date back to the beginning of the 20th century. These artworks include paintings, sculptures, installations, videos, and other forms of art, showcasing the charm of art from diversified aspects.
