Ten districts and new area in Shenzhen have announced they are cutting capacity to 50% at restaurants, KTVs, ballrooms, gyms, bars, cinemas, theaters, libraries, museums and other indoor venues starting today to further step up COVID-19 prevention and control.

Venue codes and negative 24-hour nucleic acid test results are checked when visitors, who are required to wear a mask, enter these places.

People who have reminders that come with their health codes as well as those who have come or returned from out of town within a three-day period are not allowed to enter those places.

Example of a health code that comes with a reminder (orange characters under the green code).

If you have a health code reminder, it will automatically disappear after the anti-epidemic rules of taking daily nucleic acid test for three days and avoiding attending gatherings and dinner parties or going to crowded places are strictly followed, according to local authorities.

Residents must scan the venue codes, take temperature checks, wear masks and show their negative 24-hour nucleic acid test results when entering residential compounds, urban villages, wet markets, malls and supermarkets, and office buildings.

Travelers coming or returning to Shenzhen must report their health condition to the communities before arriving in Shenzhen or within 24 hours upon arrival.

The measures will be adjusted according to the COVID prevention and control situation, according to the authorities.
