Citizens now need to make a reservation to visit Shenzhen Library and Shenzhen Museum and strictly follow required COVID measures when entering indoor business premises such as bookstores, bars, coffee shops and salons, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported, quoting the latest notices.

Reservation to visit Shenzhen Library and Shenzhen Museum is available via their official WeChat accounts (“szlibrary” and “iszbwg” respectively). The library has set a limit of 2,000 visitors simultaneously occupying its first to sixth floors.

Citizens must show their health and travel history codes and hold a negative nucleic acid test result issued within 24 hours. Visitors with a health code reminder are not allowed to enter the library.

Staffers at other venues such as Shenzhen Book City CBD Store and a hotel in Futian CBD were also seen checking visitors’ health information before entry, the Daily report said.

Staffers from Shenzhen Book City CBD Store said that the store has limited its capacity to 50%. Some of the bookstore’s cultural activities were delayed or set to be held online instead.

At the hotel in Futian CBD, visitors were asked to show required health information and sign a health commitment paper when checking in. The hotel staffers said that they disinfect the hotel at least two times a day to ensure safety.

In addition, a staffer from a bar in the Meilin area in Futian District said they reduced the number of chairs at the bar to limit capacity.

Most indoor venues were found following required COVID measures to check health information and body temperature.
