Residents are no longer required to go through checks of negative nucleic acid test results when entering housing estates, office areas, restaurants, business venues and supermarkets, as well as other public area, according to a notice released this afternoon by Shenzhen’s COVID-19 prevention and control command office.

However, people still have to scan the venue codes and present their health codes, as per the notice.

A 48-hour negative COVID test result will still be required for entry into the six types of enclosed public places, i.e. internet bars, nightclubs, chess and card rooms, KTV, and sauna and bathing places.

Residents are reminded to take personal precautious measures such as wearing masks properly in public places, as well as observe social distancing.
