More than 100 products from over 20 Shenzhen enterprises had been on display recently at the Shenzhen Products Display and Sales Center in Moscow, Russia for the promotion of Shenzhen-made products.

The products include panel computers, smart watches, earphones, stereos and smart household appliances.

Six potential buyers in Russia, after seeing the products at the center, held online negotiations with Shenzhen enterprises through this matchmaking activity, which is part of the third leg of the Shenzhen Products Global Tour, organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Shenzhen).

“The exhibition offered us opportunities to showcase products to Russian buyers and even opportunities for business negotiations,” Jiang Jianbo from Shenzhen Xinrongmei Industrial Co. said during an interview.

Since it is difficult for now for local enterprises to attend overseas exhibitions, the activity gave them an option for overseas marketing, according to Zhou Fang from TouchBeauty, a Shenzhen company.

In addition to exhibitions and sales, the center in Russia also provides one-stop comprehensive services for Shenzhen exporters like customs declaration and clearance, logistics, overseas warehouse, assortment and deliveries and IPR protections.

Earlier in December, 70 Shenzhen enterprises showcased hundreds of products at the Shenzhen Products Display and Sales Center in Jakarta, Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Over 50 local buyers went to see the products on site and negotiated online with Shenzhen sellers.

The two promotional activities also marked the inaugural overseas exhibition tour of Shenzhen products.

Since the second half of the year, CCIPT Shenzhen has been integrating its overseas resources to help local enterprises tide over difficulties and grab overseas orders through a hybrid model of on-site exhibitions plus online negotiations.

It set up exhibition halls at its liaison offices in different countries and displayed Shenzhen-made popular products such as consumer electronics and smart household appliances. The liaison offices also invited local buyers to see the products on site and engage in negotiations with Shenzhen enterprises online.

CCPIT Shenzhen had established liaison offices in 11 countries and all of them boast a Shenzhen products display center. According to the committee, it will build more such centers and provide more targeted services to meet Shenzhen enterprises’ needs.
