Huang Weixiong is the first local master of Chinese arts and crafts in Shenzhen. At the exhibition, he brought his award-winning beaded screen work titled “Hundred Cranes,” which is 9.4 meters long, 0.83 meters wide and 2.48 meters high. Huang’s other masterpiece, the beaded screen work titled “Flowers in Clusters,” depicts a peaceful and idyllic scene, expressing harmony in nature and yearning for a better life.

The exhibition, themed “inheritance, integration and innovation,” aims to offer a platform for cooperation on high-end resources and projects in the cultural industry, and gather such resources for the development of Shenzhen’s cultural and creative industries.

As one of the highlights of the ICIF, the exhibition has been successfully held for eight years. Through the exhibition, Shenzhen Arts and Crafts Cultural Creativity Institute had signed 168 Chinese arts and crafts masters as senior researchers by the end of October 2022.
