Over the weekend, the Guangming Pastoral Music Festival blew a wind of art for citizens at the Guangming Science City Presentation Center in Guangming District, near Guangming Science City.

The festival invited musicians from classical to pop genres to participate. On Saturday, renowned tenor Shi Yijie, who is also a professor at the School of Music, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and famous opera singer Wang Lida joined hands with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra in captivating the audience with various symphonic works and songs.

On Sunday, people had the chance to enjoy songs from Chinese folk icon Xu Wei, pop singer Liu Shuang and other bands.

There was also a fair selling cultural and creative products and snacks, as well as a cozy camping area for visitors in the area.

The festival was held beside a large field of rape flowers at Guangming Fun Farm, providing comfort to festivalgoers.
