Peach blossoms 桃花

Depending on the variety, Peach blossoms range in color from pale pink to hot pink, with deep magenta or pink blushing near its center. Each flower consists of five delicate and paper-like petals with several stringy stamens toward its center. Peach flowers have a soft, delicate texture with a sweet aroma reminiscent of honey and almond. In Shenzhen peach trees bloom from January to early March and the largest clusters of them are in Fairy Lake Botanical Garden, Lianhua Hill Park and Evergreen Resort. Photo by Wang Haolan
