Musical note plant (Rotheca microphylla) is a small, bushy shrub with oval-shaped, glossy leaves. Clusters of white bell-shaped flowers with red stamens usually appear in large masses. The unopened flowers resemble musical notes, giving the plant its name. In Bijia Mountain Park in Futian District, there is a mini botanical garden that boasts musical note plants.
