18,000 runners hit the road for Bao'an marathon

The Shenzhen Bao'an Marathon 2022 kicked off at Haibin Square in Bao'an District at 7:30 a.m. yesterday. A total of 18,000 runners took part in the event. Around 8,000 of them ran the 42.195-kilometer full-length race and 10,000 participated in the 21.0975-kilometer half-length race. Due to the COVID pandemic, the event was halted in 2020 and 2021, and the 2022 event was rescheduled to March this year. More than 42,000 people signed up for the event.
