SZU 1st offshore campus in Tokyo to open in April

Shenzhen University (SZU) will open its first offshore campus in Tokyo, Japan. The Shenzhen University Tokyo College will start its first school term in April, the college announced on its WeChat account recently.

The college is located at Yotsuya in Shinjuku, Tokyo. It is offering an undergraduate program in Chinese language and literature (business direction) as its first discipline. Students enrolled in the program can take up minors in business administration (innovation and entrepreneurship direction) and information and communication science (mobile internet application technology direction). Also, students who finish their major and minor courses can earn a double degree in Chinese language and literature and another one based on their chosen minor. SZU will grant the graduates their diploma.

The Tokyo college also encourages its students to participate in SZU-organized summer camps and apply for exchange programs to the main campus in Shenzhen to be fully immersed in Chinese culture and history.
